Inspectors continue work on mold problem at THS
Students and teachers have complained about mold problems at Topsail High
School
One of the walls replaced at Topsail High School after traces of mold were discovered.
Mold experts are scheduled to finish their work at Topsail High School today.
Inspectors will be back Monday night to continue work that began last Wednesday.
Pender County officials say mold spores found by the inspectors are typical
for the area. They say the school is safe for most healthy faculty and students.
A complete report should be available by the middle of the week. At that point,
officials in Pender County will decide how to go about completing the cleaning
process at the school.
